""You are the real harassers in this story, don't be surprised when they stop believing your campaigns. But with all the arsenal you fired against us, in the end justice prevails," Nimrod Nir, son of Minister Silvan Shalom, sharply attacks the commander of Galei Tzahal and the military station, after the decision was made this morning to close the investigation file against the minister.

• The Attorney General decided: Minister Silvan Shalom's case will be closed.

In a Facebook status, Nir, the son of journalist Judy Nir Shalom from her marriage to the late Amram Nir, accuses the Galatians of providing a platform for incitement and lies against the minister: "Apparently, at the Galatians, gossip is more sacred than polygraph results, especially when this item opens your newscast for weeks on end. You could also say we were wrong, or at least treat the item objectively, even if objectivity undermines the weak credibility you had in broadcasting the story in the first place. Instead, the more it turned out that this case was a hoax, the more you provided a platform for incitement and lies against him, out of a justified panic that your farce would be discovered.".

Nir called the coverage of Galtz: "An intense witch hunt that ultimately produced nothing except proof that Sylvan Shalom is a clean and decent person. Gossip, demagoguery, lies, and an agenda that grows stronger even when the facts are the opposite - turned Galtz from a news radio station into a taxi station. Only in this case, the entire people of Israel are listening to the connection.".
