The World Bible Quiz for Youth was held today (Thursday) at the Jerusalem Theater, with the participation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli Aldstein, Chief Military Rabbi Rafi Peretz, rabbis and public figures.
The winner of the World Bible Quiz for 2015 is Eyal Yitzhak Mets, a resident of Rehovot, a student at the 'Drachei Noam' yeshiva in Petah Tikva.
Second place went to Israel Algrabli, 17, a student at Yeshiva Horev in Jerusalem, third place went to Arad Kotzer from Ashdod, and fourth place went to Ryan Raphael Ripsman from Canada.
The World Bible Quiz for Youth was held this year under the theme "Kibbutz Galuyot".
Sharad Al-Hinukh explains that the Bible quiz is intended to "unite the Jewish people in Israel and in the Diaspora around the Book of Books.".
16 outstanding contestants from Israel and abroad qualified for the final stage, having beaten 67 contestants from 33 different countries in the public preliminary stage, including: the USA, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Turkey, South Africa, Brazil, and more.
