You crashed. What are you celebrating about?

In the face of the cheers of joy and confession, I ask myself: What exactly is the confession about? About the drop from 11 seats to seven? Or about the seventh seat that disappeared and only six remained? • In such wars, there are no winners. Everyone loses.

After a passionate battle;

After all the parties and their subordinates spat out all the lava that erupted from their tongues; After doing everything possible to garner more votes for their party -

The true results have arrived.

There was no 'election surprise' for any party. The potential core of voters did not grow to enormous proportions, but neither did it evaporate.

But this is the image viewed through the glasses of a person at eye level.

When we are ready to stand tall, look up, and observe the results from a bird's eye view in a broad perspective, from a place where we can see the picture in its entirety, then we can see the destruction and devastation left by the divisions and disagreements within the Haredi parties, the bleeding wounds, and those who "walked" on the battlefield.

The ultra-Orthodox parties lost five seats. These are not just a number, but five representatives who could have fought fiercely for the vital and existential interests of the ultra-Orthodox public.

Still, it seems that the eyewitnesses are not willing to give up the tactic, and instead of taking stock of the enormous loss and the immense spiritual damage, they are publicly making declarations of victory and joy.

And I ask myself - what exactly is the confession about?

About the drop from 11 seats to 7? Or about the seventh seat that disappeared and only six remained?

In the first case, it seems that the admission is not actually about the party's stinging loss, but about the great victory that the competitor did not pass the threshold.

In the second case, too, they don't give up and talk about the increase in the number of votes. They think we've forgotten about the natural increase and that it's not about new audiences; they think we don't know that the main purpose of the elections is to get more representatives on the list.

After the flames subside, while the smoke still rises, we all understand today that the dispute can only destroy, not build.

And in wars like this, there are no winners. Everyone loses.

The Haredi public is still relatively small to allow for the many factions that characterize it. Only joining forces and joining hands, both before and after elections, can cause surprises, and so an Arab party that uses this important ability could become the third largest in the country.
