Sigh of relief: The tension in the Sanz and Arlui Hasidims dissipated after a significant improvement in the health of the rebbes who were hospitalized last week at the Laniado and Hadassah Ein Kerem hospitals.
The 63-year-old Rebbe of Sanz, who was hospitalized on Thursday morning due to weakness and a high fever from which he suffered due to an infection, was released this morning (Sunday) from Laniado Hospital in Kiryat Sanz and returned home.
There is also optimism among Arlui Hasidism after the pacemaker implantation surgery, which the 91-year-old Rebbe underwent on Friday afternoon, was successful. During Shabbat, his condition improved, and according to Hasidic sources, he is expected to be released to his home in Jerusalem today.
The Arlui Hasidic community, where prayers were held every Friday, is asking the public to continue praying for the complete recovery of Rabbi Yochanan ben Toshna.
Even in Sanz Hasidism, they say that despite the improvement in his health, it is still necessary to pray that the Rebbe Rabbi Zvi Elimelech ben Chaya Nechama will fully recover.
