In his public appearances and election ads, Baruch Marzel boasts that only he will wipe the smile off Zoabi's face.
Really?
After repeated defeats, the Arabs understood very well that it would be extremely difficult for them to defeat the State of Israel on the battlefield. Many years and several serious wars made it clear the hard way to the leaders of the Arab states that they had no choice but to accept their inability to destroy Israel through military campaign. Even if it was a brutal and surprising campaign like the Yom Kippur War.
However, alongside this insight, another insight, no less interesting and important, has permeated the Arab leadership.
Over the years, they have come to the conclusion that while it is not possible to eliminate Israel on the military front, it is certainly possible to severely harm the Jewish state on the media-image front, to the point of making the lives of its residents unbearable.
Following this conclusion, We hear More and more Arab speakers are conducting persistent propaganda for a comprehensive boycott of the State of Israel, with an emphasis on an economic boycott.
A network of wealthy organizations is constantly brainwashing the global media on the issue, presenting Israel as a racist and evil state that severely violates human rights. Their goal is clear – to turn the State of Israel into a political leper and economically isolated from the rest of the world.
The model that guides the activists in that anti-Israel propaganda system is the South African model.
With great cynicism, they use slogans such as "Israel is an apartheid state," or "the Israeli right secretly strives for the genocide of the Palestinians," and with these false slogans they appeal to the world, including Jews abroad, with the request to boycott the State of Israel.
Similar to the story of South Africa, they hope that sooner or later the world will indeed be convinced that Israel is an evil, racist kingdom, and then, after completely boycotting Israel, it will collapse economically and become a nightmare for its citizens.

This strategy is well known to many elements in the Israeli government and quite a few Jewish organizations. For this reason, we are witnessing various actions, although in my opinion insufficient, aimed at strengthening Israel's position in the world.
It's no secret that in many cases this is a difficult, even extremely difficult, battle. Anti-Israel propagandists are eager for any piece of information that will allow them to carry out media manipulation against Israel - and the results are accordingly.
And here I come to our acquaintance Baruch Marzel and Hanin Zoabi.
Without a doubt, Zoabi hates the Jewish state, we have seen this time and again. However, what we also see about Zoabi is her constant attempts to gain a platform in the global media, in order to embarrass the smell of the State of Israel.
It did this well in 2010 in the famous "Mavi Marmara" flotilla, and it has been trying to do it again and again since then. Mostly without success.
But, these days, Hanin Zoabi has a new hope. This hope is called: "Member of Knesset Baruch Marzel.".
Zoabi very much hopes that Eli Yishai's voters of all kinds (from Haredim who are simply angry at the Haredi parties, to those who dream of concentration camps for Arabs) will put Baruch Marzel in the Knesset. Zoabi knows that when it comes to provocations and rants, Marzel can definitely be trusted, and therefore she sees him as the person who will give her the same good story that people run around with, and spout derogatory remarks against the State of Israel.
""A member of Knesset, defined as a Jewish fascist, spat on a representative of the Arab minority," or: "A representative of a party that glorifies the murderers of innocent Arabs, threw a Koran at the face of an Arab member of Knesset." The world's media headlines will scream, and the haters of Israel will be able to smile in peace.
Here, another decent image blow has been dealt to the State of Israel and the Jewish people.
Marzel, then, will not wipe the smile off Zoabi's face. On the contrary, he will only add smiles to her, and lots of them. Indeed, only Marzel can give a lady a global stage.
