Stone-throwing terror near Givat Ze'ev: A baby riding a bus was slightly injured

Near midnight, stones were thrown at the windshield of Afikim bus line 422, which was traveling near Givat Ze'ev - on its way from Bnei Brak to Jerusalem.

Terrorism on the roads: Around midnight, stones were thrown at the windshield of Afikim bus line 422, which was traveling on Route 436 near Givat Ze'ev, on its way from Bnei Brak to Jerusalem.

The bus window shattered on the passengers. A baby of several months old suffered a minor head injury. United Hatzalah paramedics from the Givat Ze'ev branch provided first aid to several panic victims and a baby who was injured by broken glass.

Aharon Papem, head of the Givat Zeev team of United Hatzalah, said: "I arrived at the scene within about a minute of receiving the call, and encountered dozens of terrified passengers as a result of the stone-pelting. There was a baby on the scene who suffered a cut on his face from glass fragments from the shattered window. After initial treatment we provided him at the scene, he was taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in a minor condition. Large forces of the army and police were on the scene.".

Most of the bus lines that passed by did not stop. "Only after a while did one bus stop and pick up the passengers, on their way home," said one of the passengers.

According to the passengers, the police who were called did not arrive at all in the area until 12:20 p.m. - at which time the bus that picked up the passengers left the scene with its passengers.
