""A dog is man's best friend," goes the well-known saying, which now also receives empirical proof: a miniature schnauzer was observed on a hospital's closed-circuit television cameras, wandering between the various wards, until he reached his owner - a woman named Nancy Frank.

The wonderful story of the dog, named Sisi, was published on the Daily Express website.

Nancy Frank, was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo surgery at Rahamim Hospital in the UK. One day, Dale, Nancy's husband, noticed that her dog, Sissy, was missing from the house. He went out to look for him, but the dog had disappeared.

The worried steward asked friends for help, but a short time later he received word that the 'missing' dog had been located. It turns out that the dog, who had never visited the hospital before, managed to cross 20 blocks, enter the hospital, and wander for hours between the wards, until he found his mistress - Nancy.

How did the dog know how to get to the hospital, and how did it recognize the woman among the tangle of wards and corridors? No one has an answer for that.

Conrad Hospital security officer told the local news channel: "We were completely surprised when we saw the dog cross the hospital lobby. He went through two automatic doors, and up a series of wards until he reached his 'mom'.".
