Permission granted for publication: Shelly Dadon, 20, from Afula, is the young woman whose body was found today (Thursday) in a parking lot near the industrial area in Migdal HaEmek.

Dadon's body was discovered by police officers on a routine patrol.

Magen David Adom medics and paramedics who were called to the scene found her with stab wounds to her upper body – and pronounced her dead.

An initial police investigation indicates that Dadon was on her way to a job interview. Her body was found around 3:00 PM, and about fifteen minutes later her parents reported her missing at the Afula station.

The police linked the cases and asked the family members to present a picture of the young woman. When it became clear that the body found was indeed Dadon's, her father and brother arrived at the scene of the murder - where her father was asked to identify her.

The commander of the Northern District, Superintendent Zohar Dvir, gave a situation assessment, with the participation of all the investigation elements, which will apparently be assigned to the central unit in the Northern District. At the meeting, it was reported that since this is a girl with no criminal record who was on her way to a job interview, and since the body was discovered in the same place where the body of taxi driver Yefim Weinstein, who was murdered on nationalistic grounds, was discovered - the suspicion that this is a murder on nationalistic grounds is growing.
