The Ministry of Health issued a warning to Jerusalem residents today (Wednesday) at noon regarding concerns about contamination of tap water, due to concerns about sewage water mixing with drinking water.
According to the announcement, the areas in Jerusalem where there is concern about contamination are: Bakaa, Abu Tur, Talpiot, Sur Baher, Silwan, Ras al-Amud, the Old City, Mamilla and Murasha.
The Ministry of Health warns that water should not be used for drinking or brushing teeth or handling food without boiling it for two minutes.

Inspectors from the Ministry of Health and the Gihon Water Company are conducting water tests until the concern is removed.

In the Beit Vegan neighborhood, a task force was established at the Gihon Water Center, which was managed by the Gihon CEO, with the participation of the company's professionals, representatives of the Jerusalem Municipality and the Ministry of Health.
