Well, there was a march of a million, a million and a half, two million people. The public expressed shock and solidarity with the fallen. What is the message? How is this demonstration supposed to change the world and make it a better world, a world where people are not murdered in such a despicable and cruel way?
Those Islamic elements are looking at this mass demonstration and rubbing their hands with pleasure. Isn't that exactly what they wanted – to scare, to alarm, to sow terror and anxiety.
They see before their eyes a war between fanatical religious faith and hollow values of freedom, which give no real meaning to life. Mass demonstrations only strengthen the image of the terrorists in the eyes of their supporters.
Uprooting
The only way to uproot the scourge is through faith. The most heinous crime of those elements is in distorting religious faith and turning religion, the source of morality and justice, into a lever for instilling satanic cruelty and hatred of man.
After the flood, God warned Noah and his sons about observing the Seven Commandments of the Noahide (six commandments given to the first man and another commandment given to Noah and his sons).
God, the Holy One, specifically warned against bloodshed: "Whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed, for in the image of God He made man.".
The sanctity of life and the recognition that every person is created in the image of God are fundamental to the existence of a reformed human society.
Whoever murders people violates one of these basic commandments, common to all human beings. Such a person is not a 'martyr' but a despicable criminal, condemned to hell.
In these acts of cruelty, he acts against the Creator of the world and against His commandments, and if he does this while carrying the name of God on his lips – his crime is doubly serious and abominable.
This message must be heard with full force. We must work to bring this belief to bear on all of human society.
The dark zealots and their supporters need to realize that they are faced with true faith in the Creator of the world and in the fundamental commandments that He commanded all human beings.
They need to hear a clear statement that they are not 'believers' but cruel human animals, who distort religion and use faith to do the complete opposite of it.
The hypocrisy game
The world needs to launch an all-out war against the breeding grounds of this distortion. Uproot the culture of glorifying murderers. Prevent sermons in mosques that foster the idea of jihad. Monitor the curriculum in schools.
This is how we truly fight a despicable ideology that poisons the souls of millions of people around the world.
Unfortunately, the world prefers to play the game of 'political correctness' and avoid calling the child by his name. It is unwilling to point out the source of evil, and certainly not to fight it.
Moreover, the world participates in the celebration of hypocrisy, condemning terrorism with one hand and embracing its supporters with the other.
This hypocrisy was evident in the front row of the demonstration in Paris. The head of the Palestinian Authority, who praises the murderers, gives them generous monthly support, and supports anti-Semitic incitement, marched in it.
This is what the world of lies incarnate looks like.
