Another tragedy in the meantime: For a week, doctors at Tel Hashomer Hospital fought for the life of Rivka Ben Khalifa, may God have mercy on her. But, unfortunately, this evening (Tuesday) they were forced to pronounce her dead.
Rivka A.H., 9, who in recent days was given the name Chaya by rabbinical order, was seriously injured in a car accident on Yehuda Hanasi Street in the Brachfeld neighborhood of Modi'in Illit.
The fatal accident occurred one afternoon a week ago, when the girl was crossing a road and was hit by a passing vehicle.

As a result of the injury, the girl lost consciousness, and rescue forces performed life-saving CPR on her.
After successful resuscitation, she was evacuated for further medical treatment at Tel Hashomer Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.
As mentioned, this evening, the doctors were forced to declare her dead.
