An ultra-Orthodox man in his 40s living in the city of Safed was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of threatening a bishop. The man arrived at the bishop's home in Nazareth last night and handed him a letter containing a series of threatening statements and quotes against him and Christians. The suspect was arrested as part of the investigation into the incident, and he will be brought this morning for a hearing on extending his detention at the Kiryat Shmona Magistrate's Court. The Weizmann Coast Police Spokesperson said in a conversation with Haredim10 Because the suspect, an ultra-Orthodox Jew living in the city of Safed, was arrested for making threats.
