David Levi, a guitar player who occasionally sings at weddings and serves as the rabbi at Yeshiva Ashe HaTorah in Jerusalem, is releasing his debut album: You Are My Friend.
In the work of creating the album, he teamed up with the most talented arrangers - Jeff Hurwitz, Eli Klein, Itzi Berry, and Eli Wozniacki, with Avi himself responsible for the compositions, along with Eli Klein and composer Ivy Rothenberg, who composed the album's theme song and appears on it for a duet.

It's not every day that you hear a singer who rekindles the desire to listen to Hasidic music. The album features another duet, soul singer Yosef Kardoner and singer Ari Goldwag, who is responsible for background vocals on two songs on the album.
