The new politics has no future.

Lapid has not learned the most important rule: for achievements, compromise is necessary. If Netanyahu returns to a fourth term in the Prime Minister's office, it is only because of this.

It's not zero VAT, nor the Nation-State Law, nor the budget. It's the unnatural coalition that was forced upon Netanyahu. It is the lack of carpenters' glue, and it is mainly the lack of trust, hostility and disgust between the coalition factions that is paralyzing the government and bringing us to the polls for the second time in two years. Anyone who has been around the Knesset in the past month understands that this was inevitable. If the public good is in his sights, Netanyahu had no other choice but to return the mandate to the voters. When each party pulls in a different direction and threatens to dissolve the government, when it is impossible to lead reforms, let alone marginal bills, when the government and the Knesset are paralyzed - it is impossible to run a country. The dissolution of this government that was formed in sin because of the Lapid-Bennett Brotherhood Alliance is a reality requirement.

As we predicted back in August, theElections Will be held this spring. Those who analyzed the situation according to political logic and did not see this happening did not understand that the current Knesset should be analyzed according to the rules of the new politics. The one that sanctifies the power, the arrogance, and the lack of compromise advocated by the Minister of Finance. Yair Lapid. Lapid prepared for months before abandoning the presenter's chair until he dived into the political pool. He directed the message, applied the gel in the right direction, but did not internalize the number one lesson in politics: in order to achieve achievements, you have to compromise. He thought that it was possible to run a country and politics by dictating and handing out orders to the prime minister. He forced Brother Bennett on Netanyahu, forced him to betray the Haredim, his natural partners, he marched on the threshold of companies from Bnei Brak to Kakum, and opened the gates of Judaism with the conversion law to all oppressed.

Compromises do not exist in Lapid's toolbox. He brought with him a new pattern - 'This is my opinion, or nothing.' That was the case with the conversion law, the conscription law, and also with the budget, and now it's zero VAT over which he decided to commit suicide until the bitter end. Lapid is left with no budget, no JNF, no health reform, no zero VAT - and with zero achievements. He came to the Knesset with Yesh Atid and is returning home with no future.

Lapid's fundamental problem is his lack of experience and his manner of conduct, which caused him to jump higher than the Akirov Towers. Every time he was given a ladder, he chose to escalate his statements and threats, while surrounded by advisors who assured him that Netanyahu would blink first. Lapid's associates have known the prime minister since the Sharon days. They remember the old Netanyahu, the one who blackmailed and pressured, they were sure that he would fold. Until the last moment, they did not believe that he would have the courage to preempt the voter's judgment. Not only did their intelligence apparently fail, they also did not take into account that Netanyahu works closely with coalition chairman Ze'ev Elkin and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz, who will not let him back down from his goal. Netanyahu laid a pre-planned ambush on Lapid yesterday when he invited him to his office. The explosion of the meeting was controlled. The press release, which was sent to reporters even before Lapid left the Prime Minister's Office, almost ended the campaign of humiliation. All he has left to do is fire Lapid and send him to run for the voter's heart without budgets, without drivers, without a secretariat, and without the ability to hand out candy from the Yesh Atid offices.

Netanyahu's problem now is the anti-Bibi campaign. This will be the agenda of the center-left parties, and perhaps even Liberman's. Luckily for him, when you ask all the members of this bloc, if not Bibi, then who is - everyone has a different answer. They are unable to unite and decide. Their ego is stronger than theirs. If Netanyahu returns to a fourth term in the Prime Minister's office, it will only be because of this.
