The lion, a young male, decided to cross the river, and did not notice the crocodile waiting for him in the water. In the heart of the lake, the crocodile attacked and closed its jaws on the lion's neck.

But to the greatest surprise, the lion was not dragged into the water, but managed to fight off the crocodile, escaping its grasp as it quickly galloped to the other side of the lake unharmed.

A nearby tourist managed to capture the quick fight. He told the Daily Express: "As soon as I saw the crocodile waiting in the water, I knew something interesting was going to happen.".
