Shas faction chairman, MK Yinon Azoulay, today (Monday), in a speech he delivered from the Knesset plenary rostrum, attacked opposition members and attorney Gali Bahar from Yara - following the damage to the world of Torah and Haredi education.
""I came from a source of inspiration, a sense of relief, which I had just had from my child's siddur party. 85 children who are entering first grade from just one Torah Talmud, without the evil eye, as the Minyan here.
""There are those who want to shut the mouths of these babies of Beit Rabban. The dismissed legal advisor... We won't give it to them. These children, with this holy mouth, I get there and each child writes his own prayer. One wants there to be no wars, one wants to grow up in Torah, one wants God to protect our soldiers, no one asked for some game, some flight abroad, none of the children asked for that.
""He asked for peace, he asked for health, he asked for healthy parents. A five-and-a-half-year-old child, I promise you I didn't tell my child what to write. These children, whose education you envy, you envy their education - you want to shut their mouths. You won't shut the mouths of babies from Rabban's house, who are you? We won't stop this melody! We've never stopped this melody, we'll never stop it, it's the melody of Judaism, of the Jewish world.
""For 3,000 years the Torah has protected us, and with that we will continue. These babies are the ones that bring me peace of mind. Not your wars, not that you want to shut us down, you and the legal advisor. Who are you? Little people without a backbone, people who are jealous of our education. We have real education, you don't know what education is, you don't know what values are. We have education, we have values. And with the mouths of babies from Rabban's house, in the name of God, we will do and succeed.".
