Moshe Saada, a 65-year-old resident of Safed, who works as a teacher at a school in the city, was arrested on suspicion of committing serious crimes against minors.
The investigation underway against him reveals suspicion that he allegedly committed harm over a long period of time.
As part of the investigation, several complaints have already been received from victims who said that Saada allegedly harmed them.
Following the testimony, the suspect was arrested on May 19, and since then his detention has been extended from time to time at the Safed Magistrate's Court - until June 1.

The police estimate that there are additional victims who have not yet gathered the courage to come forward, and are now trying to reach them to collect their testimony.
Northern District Police investigators are appealing to the public and asking anyone who knows anything about additional cases in which the suspect was involved, or anyone who was harmed by him, to file a complaint at any police station across the country.
