""'A pure heart God created for me' - Psalms 51:12 - a child of light, small in years and great in soul. A child whose covenant came out on the holiday of Sukkot inside the Sukkah in the synagogue. He was with a kippah, tzitzit and beautiful wigs, a righteous child who was blessed to grow in faith.".

The father added: "It is very important to note that I am not angry with anyone and I am not blaming anyone. This is a decree from heaven, his soul will remain with us forever. Ilai Yehonatan, your soul will remain in our hearts forever.".

The tragedy occurred when the child was standing next to his mother on the street near his home, and a vehicle entering the street hit him.

He was taken to Hillel Yaffe Hospital while resuscitation efforts were performed, but to the dismay of the doctors who fought for his life, all that remained was to declare him dead.
