The Honenu organization revealed today (Thursday) that a released terrorist carried out a car ramming attack three months ago in which two Jews riding an ATV were injured near the settlement of Ateret in Binyamin.

After the runover, Attorney Haim Bleicher of Mehonu appealed to the police and the IDF, demanding that they investigate the incident as an attack due to the victims' testimony that the Arab vehicle veered sharply toward them, crossed a traffic lane, and hit them on the shoulder.

The vehicle's occupants were not arrested and the police traffic unit charged them with a charge without questioning or arrest.

Despite Attorney Bleicher's appeals, the IDF and Shin Bet refused to investigate the incident as a terrorist attack.

After the terrorist was exposed, Attorney Bleicher sent an urgent letter to Central Command Major General Avi Balut and the commander of the Shi'ite police district, demanding that the passengers be arrested immediately.

In his letter, Bleicher emphasizes the urgency of arresting the passengers: "The continued failure to arrest the terrorists poses an immediate danger and a serious threat to the security of Israeli citizens, IDF fighters, and Israel Police officers. It is fortunate that there are alert citizens who are able to warn about the failure. I hope that the lessons of the October Sabbath were produced by you. I will ask you to respond to the immediate demand of the victims of terrorism for the arrest of the terrorists and their interrogation by the Shin Bet.".

Attorney Bleicher said: "During Ramadan, an Arab vehicle driven by terrorists noticed a Jewish couple riding an ATV on the opposite side of the road. The vehicle accelerated toward the ATV, crossed a lane, and hit it hard. As a result of the impact, a young Israeli woman flew 7 meters into a nearby wadi and was seriously injured. It takes a lot of coincidence for the incident in question to have occurred as an accident and not with intent to murder.".

""The army and Shin Bet's refusal to interrogate the terrorists constitutes an omission and a serious security danger. It seems that the lessons of October 7 have not been learned at all and the system prefers to silence attacks even at the cost of releasing terrorists.".
