Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz gave a comprehensive interview to Keshet 12's "Uvda" program, during which he revealed that his wife Revital was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
The party chairman says that the two received the news together: "We were sitting in the office and they told us it was Alzheimer's.".
When asked by interviewer Sefi Ovadia, "How do you hold such a farewell?", Gantz replied: "There is no farewell, it is not a farewell. This beautiful woman, she exists.".
The show's editor wrote in a post on the X network: "Benny Gantz had to go through a long journey to be ready to talk about what happened to the woman he was with. He's been carrying this secret for six years, and now, for the first time, he's sitting in front of Sefi Ovadia to take stock. And there's something about it.".
The full interview will be broadcast on Thursday on Channel 12.
