After the conciliatory tone that accompanied the withdrawal of Trooper troops from Blue and White: Party chairman MK Benny Gantz admitted today (Tuesday) that the resignation of his longtime partner at the exact moment when Blue and White is fighting for its political life hurt him.
According to a Channel 14 report, Gantz spoke at a conference of the Kibbutz Movement, noting that he and Tropper have not exchanged a word since his resignation. "I am hurt," Gantz said. "We were good friends, but I am moving on. It was a political move, I wish him well and much success.".
Regarding the appointment of Roman Gofman to the position of head of the Mossad, he said: "I want to wish Roman Gofman success. You belong to an organization that does and does not talk." However, he qualified his support for his candidacy and said: "It is usually better to appoint people from within the organization.".
Regarding the recruitment of Haredim, he said: "The Haredim must be part of the State of Israel. We cannot give up on this issue, and they must serve the state.".
