An unmanned aerial vehicle struck a residential building in the Metula settlement at noon (Monday).
As a result of the direct impact, physical damage was caused to the structure. Medical personnel treated one person at the scene, who was described as suffering from anxiety.
Initial investigation indicates that this was an unmanned aerial vehicle launched by the terrorist organization Hezbollah and not an explosive drone, as stated in the initial report.
IDF forces rushed to the area and are now operating at the point along with other security forces.
In the same incident, two additional unmanned aerial vehicles were apparently launched by the terrorist organization Hezbollah. One of them fell in Israeli territory near the border with Lebanon, and another fell in the area where IDF forces operate in southern Lebanon.
There were no injuries in either incident.
The attack on Metula occurred after alerts were activated regarding the intrusion of hostile aircraft in several different areas in the northern region of the country.
