Border Guard soldiers closed the circle last night (Tuesday) with a terrorist who attempted to harm IDF forces and threw explosive devices at the Rachel's Tomb complex about a week ago - an event that posed a real danger to the worshippers who frequent the complex.

The arrest was made following targeted intelligence information received in recent days. During the nighttime operation, Border Police forces entered deep into the Aida refugee camp, located near the Rachel's Tomb complex.

The fighters arrived at the terrorist's house, located the boy inside the house, and arrested him immediately, without any exceptions or resistance being noted.

An examination by security forces indicates that the suspect is a 17-year-old boy, a resident of the Aida camp, and is suspected of acting out of nationalist motives.

Immediately after the arrest, he was transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.
