On Wednesday of this week, the Prime Minister's Office announced that Netanyahu secretly visited the United Arab Emirates in the midst of the "Harry's Roar" and met with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. "This visit resulted in a historic breakthrough in relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates," it said.
The UAE Foreign Ministry denied the visit - which took place on March 26 - and added that they also did not host an Israeli military delegation.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that Mossad head Dadi Barnea visited the United Arab Emirates at least twice during the war with Iran to conduct security coordination.
Kan News reported that Shin Bet chief David Zini also made a preliminary visit to the United Arab Emirates.
It was also reported that an Israeli security delegation, led by the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, visited the United Arab Emirates in the days leading up to the start of the war, as Israel and the United States prepared for Operation 'Roaring Harrier'.
