The move is intended to provide physical protection for forces in the field against the threats developing in the arena.
According to IDF data, so far the forces have been provided with approximately 158,000 square meters of barbed wire.
At the same time, the army is promoting the purchase of an additional 188,000 square meters, which are expected to reach units later.
The scope of the networks purchased so far is significant and equivalent to an area of approximately 20 football fields.
As part of the presentation of the new response, photos of drones that were part of an experiment and testing of operational means in the field were published.
The military system continues to examine additional solutions to deal with the changing threat on the battlefield.
