In his letter to the police, Bleicher describes the serious incident: "My client boarded the bus at the Har Nof terminal. The bus driver began shouting that this was the last stop. When my client asked to get off the front door and asked to speak respectfully, the suspect closed the bus door and began hurling obscene curses at her in Arabic.

""The suspect then opened the door and while my client was trying to get off the bus, the suspect deliberately closed the bus doors on my client, while she was 'half inside, half outside,' and repeated this action several times. As a result, my client was physically attacked by the bus doors and suffered pain in her body.

""After my client managed to extricate herself, she stood at the front of the bus and asked the driver to identify herself. In response, the suspect began driving in her direction while the bus physically hit her, forcing my client to hold on to the moving vehicle to avoid being run over. Only her resourcefulness and cries for help prevented a major disaster.".

Attorney Bleicher: "The Hate Crime Victims Department in Honenu constantly receives complaints about hate crimes committed by minority bus drivers against the Jewish population, including assaults, threats, intimidation, unnecessary emergency braking that results in injuries to passengers, and more. This is a dangerous phenomenon and indicates the high potential risk posed by those bus drivers who are responsible for the safety and security of many citizens. We demand that law enforcement authorities deal with drivers who violate the law to the fullest extent of the law, as these types of drivers are ticking time bombs.".
