The arrest was made after the police recently received an online complaint about suspicion of serious acts being committed against a child while he was traveling on a public bus.

Immediately upon receipt of the complaint, an investigation into the matter was opened at the Etzion station, and as part of it, evidence and findings were collected and intelligence operations were carried out to reveal the suspect's identity.

In recent days, the identity of the suspect in the act was revealed, and after preliminary investigation procedures, last night he was brought for questioning at the Etzion police station, during which he gave his version of events.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the suspect was imprisoned in order to be brought before the court today for the purpose of extending his detention, due to the dangerous nature of his actions.

The police investigation is still ongoing.
