
During an Air Force support operation for the fighting forces in southern Lebanon, an unsuccessful attempt was made to launch a small surface-to-air missile at an aircraft. There was no damage or casualties to our forces.
In a quick turnaround, the Air Force attacked a suspect who immediately fled the launch area on a motorcycle.
In addition, the Air Force intercepted suspicious aerial targets identified in the area where IDF forces operate in southern Lebanon. According to policy, no alerts were activated.
The Air Force continues to operate in the skies of Lebanon and assist the ground forces in attack and defense.
In another incident earlier today, the terrorist organization Hezbollah launched several explosive drones at IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. There were no casualties among our forces.
