Over the past week, forces of the Golani Brigade Combat Team, under the command of Division 36, have been operating in a special operation to clear the Litani area and achieve operational control of the area.
During the operation, the forces located positions in the area used by Hezbollah terrorists, underground shelters containing numerous weapons, weapons depots and launchers. The Air Force attacked more than 100 combat targets in support of the forces in the area.
In addition, during the clearing of the area, the forces eliminated dozens of terrorists in hand-to-hand combat by closing the circle from the air.
During one of the clashes, the forces located and cleared a significant underground route used by terrorists from the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
