US President Donald Trump intensified his tone towards Iran this evening (Monday) - and expressed his anger at the proposal it submitted to the US as part of the attempts to reach an agreement.
""Iran's proposal is stupid, I didn't even finish reading it. I had an amazing plan after Iran was defeated. They have to understand that they will not have nuclear weapons. They are dangerous," Trump declared.
He emphasized: "The ceasefire is unbelievably weak. After reading the piece of garbage they sent us, the ceasefire is now in a state of resuscitation, with the doctor coming in and saying, 'Kirch has a one percent chance of living.'".
He added that he was "very disappointed with the Kurds. We gave them weapons and it didn't help. They didn't do anything with the weapons we sent. I knew they wouldn't stand for it.".
Earlier, in an interview with Fox News, Trump noted that it is very possible that the US will once again launch the operation to open the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that this time, escorting the ships will be only a small part of the operation.
The president reiterated that the US would have to remove the enriched uranium from the country's soil, and that negotiations with Iran would continue - until an agreement is reached.
In addition, Trump claimed that the Iranians told him that the United States would be forced to deal with the "nuclear dust" from Iran's destroyed facilities, as the Islamic Republic does not have the technological tools required for this.
Shortly thereafter, in an interview with CBS, Trump responded to Netanyahu's statement on the "60 Minutes" program that it was difficult to predict the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, saying: "I knew they would close the Strait, that's the only weapon they have.".
