Judea and Samaria Border Guard soldiers neutralized a terrorist who opened fire on them this morning (Monday) during an operational activity in the village of Qalandiya.
The incident began when the forces entered the village, as part of preparations for a pre-planned operational mission in the sector.
As the forces entered, the fighters noticed a terrorist getting out of a vehicle armed with a long weapon - and immediately began firing directly at the fighters.
Border Guard soldiers responded quickly and opened fire with precision at the terrorist - who was eliminated.
The police report that no members of our forces were injured in the incident.
The fighters remained at the scene to complete the scans and collect additional findings from the scene of the attempted attack.
