A shooting incident occurred this morning (Monday) in the city of Ramla, when a masked man shot his family member in the house - and opened fire towards the street. A 30-year-old woman was murdered and three other women were injured to varying degrees.

An initial investigation indicates that two of the women were found with gunshot wounds inside a house. At another scene, a woman was shot in a vehicle a few hundred meters from the house. A fourth woman, who was hit by shrapnel, arrived at a police station injured.
One of the injured women, about 50 years old, was evacuated in serious condition, another injured woman, about 30 years old, was in moderate to serious condition, and a third woman was slightly injured by shrapnel.
According to the Police Commissioner, the background is criminal.
The murdered woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition while undergoing resuscitation efforts, but doctors there were forced to pronounce her dead.
The woman, who was slightly injured, fled the scene and reached the police station on her own, from where she was taken for medical treatment.
A police officer who arrived at the scene said that the identity of the suspect in the shooting was known to the security forces and that after a chase he was arrested.
The initial assessment is that the shooter tried to eliminate some of the women and others were hit by stray bullets.
The police statement said that large teams of Central District police officers, along with Central Border Guard soldiers, conducted extensive searches and a hunt for the suspect in the act, who was arrested. During the searches, a gun was seized that the suspect is suspected of using to carry out the shooting.
The suspect is a relative of some of those involved.
At the beginning of the incident, a suspicion of a security background was also examined. The investigation was assigned to the Central District's central unit.
Deputy Director of the Ayalon Area, MDA Paramedic Ofir Shish, and MDA emergency medical technicians Abd Issawi, Nur Hasuna, and Moshe Kot, said: "We arrived at the scene quickly with large forces, intensive care vehicles, ambulances, and immediate response motorcycles. They led us to the wounded who suffered from penetrating injuries.
""A woman in her 30s suffered a serious injury to her body. She was unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. We began performing CPR and evacuated her to the hospital. In addition, two women in their 30s were conscious and also suffered penetrating injuries. We provided them with initial medical treatment, which included stopping the bleeding, and we urgently evacuated them to the hospital.".
