Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak was a guest on the "Meet the Press" program on Channel 12 this evening and claimed that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fears 5 days before the election that he is going to lose, he will start a war with Iran again.
Barak said: "I am very afraid. I think first of all that I see with complete clarity - Netanyahu will do anything, anything, there are no things that are unthinkable, in order to remain in the arms of power.".
What does this mean? Interviewer Daphna Liel wondered.
Barak continued: "Therefore, if five days come before the elections and he is not sure that he is going to win, it is not impossible that news comes about a ticking bomb that requires a rematch against Iran in round three.".
