The reserve forces of the Negev Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the Gaza Division, have been operating in the southern Gaza Strip for the past few months, to clear the area of terrorist infrastructure.
During their operation, the forces and the Yahalam unit destroyed eight underground tunnels with a total length of more than two and a half kilometers, which were used by the Hamas terrorist organization.

One of the tunnels was part of the network of underground terrorist infrastructures in eastern Rafah, where Hamas terrorists had been staying in recent months - who were eliminated during engineering activities by the forces within the route itself.
The forces completed their mission in space and their seventh round of operations since the beginning of the war.
Upon completion of the mission, the fighters of the 12th Brigade leave for refreshment, and in their place, the forces of the Paratrooper Brigade Combat Team entered the sector.
