With the opening of the bathing season on the shores of the Sea of ​​Galilee, delayed due to the security situation, the Council of the Sea of ​​Galilee Association of Cities approved two senior appointments:

Yossi Nevea, Mayor of Tiberias, appointed Chairman of the Kinneret Cities Association

Nevea has served as mayor of Tiberias since 2024, and also serves as chairman of the board of directors of the "Mei Reket" water corporation. He has previously held several senior positions: CEO of the Tiberias Municipality, CEO of the Rabbi Meir Baal Hans Institutions in Tiberias, Director of the Technical Service Department and Manager of the Northern Region at the Bezeq telecommunications company, and more.

Yosef Ben Yosef appointed CEO of the Kinneret Cities Association

Ben Yosef has served from 2023 to the present as VP of Human Resources at the University of Haifa. In the past, he held other senior positions: CEO of the Yavne'el Local Council, Commander of the Tiberias Regional Station of the Israel Fire and Rescue Service, and Commander of the Haifa Bay Fire Station. Ben Yosef holds a master's degree in emergency management from the University of Haifa, and a bachelor's degree in social sciences and humanities from the Open University. He is a graduate of the "Mandel for the North" program for promoting leadership and public activity in the north, a graduate of the Ministry of the Interior's CEO training course, the Technion's director training course, and a course in human resources management and organizational behavior.

Kinneret Cities Association It is a statutory corporation established in 2008 with the aim of regulating the management, planning, development and care of the 16 public beaches of the union for the benefit of the public, with an emphasis on accessibility to the general public, maintaining cleanliness and enforcing order.
