United Hatzalah medical teams provided first aid and saved the life of a two-year-old toddler who was suffering from a life-threatening allergy attack on Abba Achimeir Street in Neve Yaakov in Jerusalem.
Lazer Hess, a United Hatzalah medic who injected her with an EpiPen, said: "We were told that she was exposed to cashews and as a result developed a severe allergic reaction that threatened her life. I quickly arrived at the scene and provided her with life-saving medical treatment using an EpiPen syringe - an automatic syringe used to inject a measured amount of adrenaline. After her condition stabilized, she was evacuated to continue receiving medical treatment and tests at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital.".
