Unusually, the Navy's operation is taking place while the flotilla is hundreds of kilometers from the Israeli coast - west of the island of Crete. This is the furthest operation by Navy fighters to date, as part of the operations to seize the flotillas to Gaza.

According to a report on Channel 12, the anti-Israel activists reported that IDF fighters arrived on speedboats and aimed for weapons.

""Several fast military boats approached us, identified themselves as 'Israel,' pointed lasers and weapons at us, and gave orders to the flotilla participants to move to the front of the ships and raise their hands. Communications on the ships were disrupted," the organizers said.

Initially, the flotilla reported that one of the ships was "under a takeover attempt," and most of the other ships in the flotilla were experiencing "disruption" of their navigation and navigation systems.

For now, the IDF has not officially commented on the developments.

In one report, a Navy representative is heard, allegedly, on the communications network of one of the ships. "This is the Israeli Navy," he is heard saying. "Change direction and return to the starting point. If you need humanitarian assistance, you are welcome to continue to the port of Ashdod. If you try to continue to Gaza, we will take all the measures in our power to prevent you from violating the law.

""It is dangerous for you to continue on your sailing path. If you do so, we will arrest you and take the necessary legal action. You are responsible for your actions.".

The flotilla, which left Barcelona, passed through the island of Sicily and from there to Crete.

From Kiryat Mitsot, the activists intended to reach Gaza. There are a total of 404 anti-Israel activists on board the vessels, who according to their reports are on 58 vessels.
