Yesterday (Monday) afternoon, during an operational activity by soldiers and bikers of the Border Guard's tactical brigade in the city of Baqa al-Gharbiya, the forces identified a suspicious motorcyclist whose license plate had been hidden and folded.
The fighters signaled the suspect to stop for inspection, but he responded by starting to flee the scene, driving wildly and dangerously - endangering road users.
Police motorcyclists began an operational pursuit of the suspect, repeatedly calling for him to stop.
During the chase, the motorcyclist collided with a passing vehicle, fell off the motorcycle and tried to escape on foot, but the fighters unloaded the two-wheeled vehicle, took control of him and arrested him.
The suspect, a 21-year-old resident of Baqa al-Gharbiya, turned out to be disqualified from driving.
He was arrested and later released to receive medical treatment following a minor injury caused in the accident.
