The American website "Axios" reported that Israel sent an "Iron Dome" battery to the United Arab Emirates, along with designated forces who will operate it on the country's territory.
According to the report, the move was carried out at the beginning of Operation 'Roar of the Harrier', as part of the joint preparations against Tehran's terrorist threats.
According to the report, which relies on two Israeli sources and an American source, this is a historic event. A senior Israeli official told the website that this is the first time ever that an Iron Dome battery has been sent to another country for operational purposes.
It was also revealed that the United Arab Emirates is the first country in the world, besides Israel and the United States, where the Israeli air defense system is actively operated.
The deployment of the system in the Emirates indicates the depth of the security and strategic ties that have been forged between the countries, which cooperate on the front lines against the Iranian axis of evil.
