Teva received the KSHAT award for promoting gender equality in corporations

At the annual IPO conference of the Israel Public Companies Association held at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Teva was awarded, through its representatives at the ceremony - Amalia Adler-Waxman, Global Sustainability Manager, Iris Gilboa, Human Resources Manager at the company's Tel Aviv headquarters, and Yael Ashman, Investor Relations Manager - a KSHAT Award for promoting gender equality in the company, by Ilan Plato, CEO of the Israel Public Companies Association, and Attorney Anat Piltzer Somekh, Attorney and Deputy CEO at the Israel Public Companies Association.

Teva Company won the KSHAT award, among other things, in relation to parameters such as: the percentage of female managers in the management team, equal pay, work procedures and internal organizational atmosphere.

Iris Gilboa, Human Resources Manager at Teva's Tel Aviv headquarters, said at the conference: "In Israel, today, the percentage of female employees out of the total workforce at Teva stands at 48%, while in the science, research and development (R&D) professions, women make up 72%(!) of all employees. This is a clear expression of the central position of women in drug development, in promoting medical innovation and in influencing millions of patients around the world.""

It was also noted at the conference that, as of today, in Israel, the percentage of women among all managers and team leaders at Teva stands at 45%, while their percentage at middle management levels is higher at 51%. Among senior management in Israel, women managers, as of today, constitute 43%. In the area of ​​wages and compensation, Teva also succeeds, continuously and persistently, in maintaining the principle of equality.

In addition, Teva has implemented work procedures and initiated numerous measures that promote gender equality, such as: providing options for flexible working hours and working from home, training managers to create a balanced work environment and family-friendly principles, and a regulated option for a phased return from parental and maternity leave. Teva is careful to create an internal organizational atmosphere that promotes and supports gender equality. Among other things, it has launched programs for the advancement and development of women and a global mentoring program for senior female managers.
