This evening, President Donald Trump also canceled the arrival of his envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to Islamabad, where they were reportedly scheduled to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

""I just canceled my representatives' trip to Islamabad, to meet with the Iranians. Too much time wasted on travel, too much work!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

""Besides, there are huge internal struggles and confusion within their 'leadership'. No one knows who is responsible, including themselves. Also, all the cards are ours, they have nothing! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!".

To the Fox News White House correspondent, the president said: "I told my people, when they were preparing for the flight - you're not going to fly for 18 hours, we hold all the cards. They can call us whenever they want, but you're not going to fly for 18 hours to sit and talk about nothing.".

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi had already left Pakistan earlier, without speaking with American representatives. Araqchi met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir in Pakistan, and reportedly delivered Tehran's response to the latest proposal to end the war.

This evening, Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed that control of the Strait of Hormuz constitutes Tehran's "final strategy" in the war.

""Controlling the Strait of Hormuz and maintaining the resulting deterrent effect on America and the White House's allies in the region is the final strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran," the Revolutionary Guards' Telegram channel said.
