Orientalist Dr. Eddie Cohen was attacked in the Egyptian media after claiming that "the Egyptian economy is breathing its last breaths.".
The program "Arabist" on the i24 channel, hosted by Zvi Yehezkeli, analyzed the Egyptian reactions to Cohen's tweet, including the claims by sources in Cairo that he is an Mossad agent whose goal is to lead to the dissolution of the Egyptian state.
Cohen was a guest at the studio and admitted: "I have influence. An Egyptian newspaper even claimed that I am part of the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.".
