A Hezbollah terrorist who was injured and holed up in recent days in the town of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon surrendered himself today (Wednesday) to IDF forces.
The IDF confirmed the details - which were reported earlier this morning in the Lebanese media.
The terrorist arrived at the forces in the village of Debel, raised his hands - and surrendered.
The terrorist was arrested and taken for questioning by Unit 504 of the Intelligence Intelligence.
IDF forces completed the encirclement of the town last week. Since then, the forces have entered the town, eliminated hundreds of terrorists from the terrorist organization Hezbollah, and destroyed dozens of terrorist infrastructures.
The town is a Shiite stronghold of Hezbollah. The local stadium, where Hassan Nasrallah delivered his "Spider Web" speech in 2000, now flies the Israeli flag.
