United States President Donald Trump addressed the situation in Iran in a post he published on his social network Truth Social last night (Wednesday), claiming that it is collapsing economically.

In a post he published, the president revealed the depth of Iranian despair under the American blockade. Trump stated that the regime in Tehran loses a whopping half a billion dollars every day that the Strait of Hormuz is blocked from activity. He emphasized that Iranian attempts to present the appearance of a desire to close the strait are a lie designed to "save their honor.".

President Trump described: "Iran doesn't want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it opened so they can make $500 million a day (which is, if so, what they lose if it closes!). They just say they want it closed because I completely blocked it (closed!), so they just want to 'save their honor.'".

The president revealed that representatives approached him to open the strait immediately, but he refused: "People approached me four days ago and said, 'Sir, Iran wants to open the straits, immediately.' If we do that, there will never be a deal with Iran, unless we blow up the rest of their country, including their leaders!".

The president later escalated his words and described a situation of complete financial collapse in Tehran: "Iran is collapsing! They are desperate for cash, and the army and police are complaining that they have not received salaries," he tweeted - and signed: "SOS!!!""
