
The IDF attacked and killed Ali Yousef Harshi, the personal secretary of the Hezbollah Secretary-General and the nephew of Naim Qassem, in Beirut yesterday (Wednesday).
Harashi was a close associate and personal advisor to Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem, and played a central role in managing his office and providing security.
Media personality Yinon Magal quoted a security source as saying that Hezbollah has over 200 dead and hundreds wounded from yesterday's air force attack across Lebanon. "They are shocked by the intelligence infiltration," he said.
Netanyahu said in a statement last night: "Today we dealt Hezbollah the biggest blow it has suffered since the beepers. We attacked 100 targets in 10 minutes, in places that Hezbollah was sure were immune.".
According to a statement from the IDF spokesman, during the night the IDF attacked two central crossings, which were used by terrorists from the Hezbollah terrorist organization, to move from north to south of the Litani River in Lebanon, to transfer thousands of weapons, rockets and launchers.
Approximately 10 weapons depots, launchers, and headquarters used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon were also attacked.
