The haze that intensified last night during the holiday is expected to continue today - and tonight and Saturday morning it is expected to intensify, to the point of limiting visibility in all parts of the country.
The dust "cloud" that originated in the deserts of Libya and Egypt is now in the eastern Mediterranean and is affecting all countries in the region, such as Cyprus, Turkey, Lebanon and Syria.
The peak of the event here is expected, as mentioned, during Shabbat.
On Sunday and Monday, the haze will decrease and visibility will improve, but on Tuesday - the eve of the 'Seventh of Passover' holiday - the rain will return and fall widely, with foci in the south of the country, along with the expectation of flooding in the Dead Sea rivers and the rivers of the Negev and Arava.
