With the opening of Operation "The Roar of the Lion" and as a lesson from Operation "Am Kalavi", the Southern District Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Asher Nishti, ordered the opening of a dedicated desk for the Haredi community, with Haredi reserve officers and soldiers, who will work to meet the needs of the Haredi community in matters of public awareness, contact with the various communities, and population behavior.

In the Southern District, there are cities where the ultra-Orthodox population constitutes a significant segment of the total population, who consume internal communication in a variety of ways, and it is necessary to make life-saving instructions accessible to them in this way.

The cell was headed by a senior academic officer - Mandy Rizel, a Chabad follower from the Southern District, who works in civilian life as a communications officer.

Col. Benishti said: "Our goal is to reach every citizen in a tailored manner in the name of the sacred mission of saving lives. To this end, we have successfully established a desk for the Haredi community in the south under our responsibility, and I welcome that.""
