Duplication of roles: Nachmaniel Saban, a member of the Jerusalem City Council from the Shas faction, was elected to the position of director of the ultra-Orthodox settlement of Tel Zion.

Saban, 32, a resident of the Kiryat Yuval neighborhood, was elected in the last local elections as a council member in the capital and holds the property tax portfolio, and has now also been elected to the position of manager of the Tel Zion settlement, a position that effectively constitutes a kind of 'head of the settlement', and the one who represents it in the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council.

In a conversation with Haredim10, Saban talks about the plans: "We need to build plans to boost construction and population while at the same time finding employment solutions. Considering the housing shortage, Tel Zion is the appropriate alternative.".

And how will you combine it with the Jerusalem role?

""Both positions are compatible, responding to the public on municipal issues. On the contrary, I think it will contribute to both of my positions, and the residents will benefit from the experience I will gain in the different places.".
