The host of "The Patriots," Yinon Magal, launched a scathing attack this evening (Saturday night) against Channel 12 reporter Michal Peilan, after she compared the incident in which the car of former HaAliyon president Aharon Barak was blocked by Mordechai David to "Nazi Germany.".
In a segment shown on the program from Channel 12 broadcasts, an activist was seen claiming in a studio discussion that the case in which "a Holocaust survivor in his own country is attacked by a thug under the auspices of the government is reminiscent of Nazi Germany.".

Magal responded to the comments in a strong tone, accusing the reporter of hypocrisy, given her coverage of the protests against the legal reform.
""Are we in the process of Nazi Germany? You're making fun of all these demonstrations that blocked people in Ayalon," Magal scolded her. "With the sick, with the elderly, with babies, with people who couldn't go to the bathroom for hours and had to relieve themselves in the car.".
Magal wondered about the logic of the historical comparison and called for an end to this rhetoric: "So you're now saying that blocking an 89-year-old man, a Holocaust survivor when he was a child, is now Nazi Germany? Enough of this lie, God help us.".
He concluded his remarks with a cynical quip: "But don't do it too quickly, because we're having fun.".
