The winter system that reached its peak yesterday (Tuesday) will continue today, but with significantly less intensity.

As of Wednesday morning, 116.7 mm of rain was measured at the Erezim measuring station in the capital, with Tsova in the Jerusalem hills in second place with 107.5 mm.

After two snowy days, the Hermon site teams arrived this morning and discovered an impressive amount of snow - which had accumulated in the last two days. According to a report in 'Mako', about 40 cm of snow was measured on the lower level and about 70 cm on the upper level. The temperatures on the lower level are -4°, very cold, and the sky is starting to clear.

The Hermon site will open tomorrow to visitors only, as there are currently no surfing conditions.

Entrance to the site is by reservation and advance ticket purchase only, and ticket sales for Thursday onwards are already open on the site. The various facilities on the site will operate depending on weather conditions: the visitor cable car, extreme sleds, Skyrider virtual reality, and the snow sledding complex will operate on the upper level only.
